One of the most well-liked promotional things for branding is the stress ball. In fact, one vendor claimed to have sold 15 million stress balls in in 2014 alone. Now promotional stress balls are even used by businesses for marketing purposes.

What makes stress balls so well-liked? They come in a variety of colourful and entertaining shapes, for starters. They are a low-cost, gender-neutral advertising item that works well for all age groups. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that the act of squeezing a stress ball or playing with its cousin, a fidget-widget, has relaxing and healing effects.

History of stress balls

Baoding balls, iron spheres made to be turned in the hand, gained popularity during China's Ming Dynasty, which started in 1368. Rotations were performed repeatedly to improve muscle strength and relaxation.

Baoding balls started to be mass-produced and constructed of better materials, such jade, throughout time. They were in great demand and were decorated with patterns that promoted wellness and relaxation. Today, Baoding balls are still made and used.

Later, with the times it got so many changes and recolonised into the present one which are made of soft materials.
